×Please note the above blending calculation is a theoretical estimate only, and should not be construed as a guaranteed outcome. Physical blending in the field may be affected by various factors, not limited to the ability of operating conditions affecting how well cargoes may or may not homogenize when attempting to blend them.
We would always recommend that a full test blend be carried out on all pertinent parameters to identify that all final outcomes would be expected to meet all points of any final required specification and fitness for purpose. When blending gas oils and fuels oils we recommend that compatibility/stability factors of the components and blend should be understood and taken into account, as well as any physical factors that might affect the ability of the components to blend into a final homogenous mix.
